An October day in Eastern Ontario

We woke on Wednesday morning ( 29th) and looked out of our patio door to see everything covered in a white blanket of snow...

We looked out of the front and could see that the snow plough had been along to clean the road, and now today the 31st, we can look out onto green lawns once again

WINTER HAS STARTED EARLY THIS YEAR!

OMG, winter certainly has started early! One good thing is that it makes for great photography. So good to see you on Tabblo again, Joan. Beautiful shots of the snow laden trees.

Wow, this really is early. I'm glad I'm gonna have a sunny day today where I live...

Hi Joan,

We have also experienced an early flurry of snow that is unique here in Ireland. If we are unlucky we might see a slight fall of snow just after Xmas and that would be our total compliment for the winter.
We are wondering if we are in for a rare experience this time round adding to the world financial doom and gloom. Your photos have brightened my day already...keep warm!

Mike.

It is beautiful to look at, but I must say that I'm glad the snow passed us by THIS time. Back to milder temps for the next few day which I plan to relish. We know what's coming, don't we Thanks for sharing Joan.

Snow in Oct? Must be all that global warming everybody keeps talking about.:) Like my dad says, I can sweat better than I can shiver. That looks too cold for my sourthern heritage. Cool pictures by the way! Pardon the pun.
