Sabbaday Falls - New Hampshire - USA

The main gorge at Sabbady Falls was carved more than 10,000 years ago by large volumes of water from the last melting glacier. This water carried with it sand, gravel, and boulders, which eventually carved out the gorge. Set inside this gorge are two plunges and a punchbowl at the top.

The punchbowl, which is about 5 feet in height, falls peacefully into a circular pool about 4 feet wide. Immediately after, Sabbaday Brook plunges about 22 feet. After landing, the waters of the brook turn right and plunge another 8 feet. There are walking bridges and steps so everyone will be able to see all three parts of this waterfall. Also, be sure to check out the lower pool, which has exceptionally clear water. It is too bad swimming is prohibited, as this pool would be a perfect place to relax!

Your presentation Linda is 110% with your choice of BG, and Matt. The layout and choice of font compliments these lovely scenes wonderfully. It has a professional look about it that would not be out of character as a high class resort brochure that introduces the local tourist attraction. My personal approach to these splendid falls would be to use a tripod and slow shutter speed (1/8 sec.) to create a blurred veiled water motion effect. I would certainly hold on to this brochure once I got home as it does show this location in a most attractive way. Mike.
