Wild Boar Nite

I did not believe it when I was told I could see wild boars coming out to the open and they could even be hand-fed by those who dare.

We waited until 8.00pm when the first wild boar appeared out of nowhere.  All I could sense was some rustling sound and suddenly a very blur shadow whooshing passed me.  Someone switched on a small torch-light and I drew a cold breath when I saw 5 wild boars standing still a distance away, motionless in the dim light.  There were more glittering eyes from the dark.

A few friends of mine were brave enough to put down some rice we brought on the ground, silently they approached and started eating.  Soon more onlookers also laid down the food they brought and like phantoms raising from the ground, they appeared from the dark bushes and coming out for the feeding feast.  I was surprised to learn that when they were eating, they wouldn't mind if you touched them with your hands.

When someone started to take photos with flash light and they are still impassive, I took out my camera and started shooting aimlessly towards the dim wilderness too.

It was an amazing experience for me and others.  I spotted maybe 20 - 25 wild boars.

This is great. I'm surprised someone hasn't shot them for food. Glad they haven't though.
