Glass Slippers, The New Wedding Ring?

Yesterday, after trying on the glass slipper, Cinderella rode off, towards the castle with her soon to be husband, The Prince. Truly a happily ever after for the soon to be couple.

Cinderella and the Prince had met at the ball thrown by the royal family just two nights before. In an interview The Prince said that when he saw her, he knew that she was the one. They had danced for the whole night, stopping only when Cinderella rushed home because of a curfew. "She had left so fast I did not even have the chance to ask for her name, the only thing she left behind was a glass slipper."

The Prince then had every shoe maker questioned whether or not he knew the owner of the glass slipper, but none of them had recently been commissioned to make glass slippers. The prince then decreed that all the women in the land had to try on the slipper. "It was a very tedious task, every girl wanted to be the prince's wife after all" said the duke who had been given the responsibility "We had to call for security for the girls who would try to squeeze in their foot."

They had found Cinderella late in the afternoon, after all the other girls in the land had tried the slipper. "Had her sister not been persistent in trying to put the shoe on, we would have missed her. The poor girl was locked up in a room by her Stepmother, the audacity!" said the duke

Cinderella's evil Stepmother in her last attempt to assure that Cinderella would not marry the Prince, an honor she thought worthy only to her own daughters, shattered the slipper so that Cinderella would not be able to try it on. Luckily Cinderella had the other slipper which was proof enough, after the Prince slipped it on her foot it was assured, The Prince had found his Bride.

Nice one! Ahhhh the Classic Disney Story: "Cinderella" I liked the story because she was a very well-mannered girl: obedient, polite, etc... and beared every negative comment/insult of her stepmother and sisters; and she had an ever happily after with her prince, her true love, for her kindness, and diligence.
btw...i like your title :P
