The first snow in November 2008, very unusual for this little spot of the world (Tilburg - Holland).

My mother will start to worry - Beautiful, what's your hurry

well Maybe just a half a drink more - Put some music on while I pour

The neighbors might think - Baby, it's bad out there

Say, what's in this drink - No cabs to be had out there

To break this spell - I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell

I ought to say no, no, no, sir - Mind if I move a little closer

At least I'm gonna say that I tried - What's the sense in hurting my pride

Very cold!!!!!!!!!!!I remember the song and the movie. I would have liked to swimm like Esther Williams.....For the cold, I wish I could be a bear and sleep all the winter through. The first and the second photos are fantastic. Ciao

I love that song, especially the old jazzy version. There is a new one by James Taylor and Natalie Cole. Nice too.

This is a gorgeous winter tabblo. I love the way Autumn and winter collide with the ice over the autumn leaves but all the pictures are super!

Cool (!) Tabblo Gerard. Het was leuk hè? Als vanouds. Lekkere sneeuw die ook echt eens bleef liggen. Nu vanochtend is alles al weer weg. Foto 2 is geweldig; dat heb je heel goed gezien.

Hi Gerard, We too have had a flurry of snow that is very unusual for November and our bird feeders are in great demand already. These are early signs of a bad winter ahead of us. Your Tabblo is a lovely compilation of sculptural design that is enhanced by a sprinkling of snow. I miss those graphical urban shapes that come alive with a smattering of snow. Living in the countryside has it's downside too for the photographer. My favourite delectation is #2 with those gradations of symmetrical depth also the second last and last one for they contrast so well as individual art pieces. A lovely presentation! Mike.

Koud is het inderdaad Gerard, maar wel heel mooi om foto's te maken. Ik heb inmiddels ook een sneeuw tabblo gemaakt maar wel met foto's die ik vanuit m'n huis heb gemaakt, 't was me veel te koud buiten...... brrrrrrrrr.........

SO cool! Gerard. This is a perfect sampling of a winter's day. I like to see your boots sprinkled in the images. #2 is jkust about as perfect as a photograph can get. I really like the repeating zig zag patterns and the duality in the shots of two snow men, the leaves and the berries, the ducks and your boots.

Pam. thank you for your comment, I've appreciate your choice about Ray Charles & Betty Carter very much. I've heard them too, just like Ella and an other couple that i've admired very, who sang the song years ago when I was a young guy; Doris Day and Dean martin. I chose this option because of the info related about the song at the start of the clip.

Thank you Pat, Rhonda Weimar and Crazzy for your visit and great comment. Annelies, Op mijn tabblo is de sneeuw welke hier is gevallen nog te zien. Vandaag zag ik hier en daar nog een onooglijke bal sneeuw waarbij je met wat fantasie nog een sneeuwpop bij kunt bedenken. En knipoogje terug ;-)
