A NIGHT IN NY CITY

It was cold and the clouds hung low in the evening sky....

But the energy and life radiating from Manhattan is something everyone should see....

Here are a few images I want to share with my Tabblo friends...

It's been awhile since I have been here and there are so many Tabblos in need to see!

beautifully done Keey, looks like on 2 you did a bit of time exposure? or real slow spped, the water is so smooth NICE ! I love the movement of the peole in another image, I really love night shooting , just have not done too much, very well seen and done.I love the "starbursts" you get from this :) ( on the lights)

Thanks to all! Pam, I took these from the dock under the Brooklyn Bridge! Deb, Each photo was from 20-30 seconds in duration. I Used 100 ISO to minimize noise, with the smallest aperture setting (Largest number) F22 I could get the amount of detail and complete focus! I did not have my tripod so I used the railing to set my camera down and set the timer to minimize movement.

Really enjoyed trying this long exp process!

The sights from the Brooklyn side is just something everyone should take time to see at night! One of those "Have to do before I die" kinda things!
