This is my all time love affair with Japanese maples and you have shown them in isolation so well. The narrow DOF is the perfect choice and I had not heard that saying by Albert Camus before. My favourite is the last image for composition and spotlit focus. Well presented softness of colour. Mike.

I love them all, as you already know. But you didn't post that second image in your multiply - I really like the composition and the way you've mastered the bokeh!

It's raining here now and in a few days the remaining leaves would fall but I'm happy that I was able to go out last weekend to take some photos.
