Well, SUE, I must confes the cat and the bike shot are my favorites, too. In fact, I was going to make this tab with only these two pics (and its title wasn't "Monday blues", of course). Then I decided to add another pic, and another one, the moon... and the mood became bluer than I expected.

Feeling bue is not that bad, CHARLES. It's much better than feeling yellow or purple, don't you agree? :)

I called this "Monday Blues" because these photos were taken yesterday, about 7 pm, and I was too tired to post them immediatelly. "Monday bues" sounds much better than "Tuesday Blues", anyway. And there was this beautiful, shy moon, so it had to be "moon day".

ROBERT: Wish I had better lenses, so I could capture the moon in all its beauty. Yesterday Mars was also quite visible, but it looked just like a white dot in this photo, so I left it outside when I cropped this image.

BETH: As I said before, being blue is not always a sad mood. Sunsets usually make me feel more down, medidative, contemplative - specially in a dreamy scenery like this (I live one block from the ocean, and never get tired of seeing it).

OSCAR: Desert beaches are my favorite, too. The weather was windy yesterday, so only fishermen and windsurfers (as well as one or two photographers) dared to stay by the sea at the sunset.

PATRICK: So blue, so nice... and it's almost Summer again!

DAVID & PAT: It's better feeling blue in such scenery than feeling great at my office, I must admit... :)

ANGELA, EDITE, NOREN, CELIA: I wanted to take some pics at twilight, and the results were much better than I expected. Of course I photographed lots of cats, but all the pics turned out very dark. I still have to learn how to calibrate my cam for this kind of light, that changes so fast.

IRA: You defined it perfectly: it's "a light blue" tabblo, composed with parts of silence and the breathe of the waves.

LILIANA: Sempre que ouço/vejo/leio/uso a expressão "tudo azul", me lembro de você e do Alberto. O verão ainda não chegou (só suas chuvas). Mas nesta segunda fazia uma tarde azul, límpida, fria, perfeita para uma excursão à beira-mar.

NOE: "Melancólico" es la palabra exacta para definir este fin de tarde tan azul.

MONICA: That's exactly what I did!

LOUISE: Hay siempre muchos gatos en este píer, dónde la gente va a pescar (aunque no les guste mucho el água, los gatos arriezgan todo por un pescado).

TEO: Sunshines are too happy, colorful, exciting, for my taste. I prefer the blue mood of these lonely sunsets. You see, I don't chase the blues away - I look for them!

JIGS: I wouldn't have written three volumes of poetry without my Monday (Tuesday, Friday, Sunday...) bues.

HEIDI: I think Monday blues very productive, I feel more focused then (I work better when I am not too excited). These pics were taken from a pier (see pic #6) where there are always lots of cats (and fishermen). I photographed many of them, but only one pic (#1) wasn't blurred. I included this one because of the blue area on top of it, and also because the cat looked a bit blue, too...

Blue isn't such an uncomfortable colour; now yelllow, well, that would be just awful to bear! LOL Watching the ocean is a good thing to do when you're feeling blue, turns it all into peaceful reflections, and that's what these photos say. Beautiful tabblo Eduardo! :)

Eu nem sei o que dizer. Gato não é meu animal de estimação favorito, mas a foto ficou genial. Também a da bicicleta. As bicicletas são normalmente tão fotogênicas... por que será? Belíssimo tabblo.
