So true! And your tabblo is priceless, too! ;-)

Sealed with a kiss! Maybe we should sweat the small stuff, and forget about the big stuff. Or is it all small stuff when we look at it correctly. You make a good case here for the priceless around us.
Chilla said at 2:49 a.m. on Dec 10, 2008:
Absolutely wonderful and so true! Thanks for this heartwarming tabblo!
Liliana said at 3:29 a.m. on Dec 10, 2008:
¿No tienen precio o son preciosas...? ¡Ambas! Esperaba algo así esta semana. Bien diferente de lo habitual. Mucho hogar, mamá, familia. ¿Será saudade anticipada? Imágenes "pra se guardar / no lado esquerdo do peito".

RITA, LINDA, CHARLES, IRA, SUE, PAM, NOE, JIGS, ALLAN, CELIA & LILIANA: I know I take the same photos every time I visit my family, but that's part of the enchantment of simple things: there are always subtle changes, new details. That yellow flower of last tab is now a beautiful pumpkin, the acerolas (barbados cherry) are now ready do be picked, the kids have learnt new words.

I'm tempted to rename this tab, and use LINDA's comment ("Priceless and precious"). Or maybe I'll use it next time.

"There are not small things and big things. There are small and big ways to deal with things" (Buddhist saying, quoted from memory and badly translated by myself).

Family, is what life is all about. Without it, life is a lonely road. We are meant to share the simple things of life, as it is the process of giving that will be the most rewarding. That is why Xmas and other such festivities are set aside times for reflection and remembrance of what really matters to people. Mike.

you are really i n s p i r e d lately... beautiful portraits. very real. the big stuff IS the small stuff (to help out Allan! lol)

These pictures are indeed treasures, great portraits
Eduardo.affonso said at 8:50 a.m. on Dec 10, 2008:
MIKE: I'm very proud of my lonely road, but sometimes even an eremite needs some relief...

ANNELIES: What do you exactly mean by "lately"? Last 49 years 7 months & 18 days??

TEO: In this case, the meaning seems to be more important than any technical quality, I guess.

Eduardo.affonso said at 3:14 p.m. on Dec 10, 2008:
DAVID, ROBBI, SANDY, PAT & DOREEN: I'm glad to notice we share the same values (not only similar tastes about photography).

Liliana said at 5:15 p.m. on Dec 10, 2008:

Eduardo.affonso said at 4:48 p.m. on Dec 11, 2008:

LAURA, ANGELA & DEBBIE: It's so good to have friends like you to share these photos with. And I'm glad you noticed the dog (it's Benedita, my canine muse).
Liliana said at 5:35 p.m. on Dec 11, 2008:

I couldn't agree more. The best things in life are free. Very beautiful tab, Edu. :) TOD material for me. I also love the quote you got from Doyle. The shots are true to the essence of the tabblo--very simple...essential. Thank you for this. :)
Ebucar said at 9:46 a.m. on Dec 12, 2008:
Nina1960 said at 1:11 p.m. on Dec 13, 2008:
I totally agree with you..the quote from Doyle....these pictures are beautiful and these are very precious moments in life wich you can cherish.
