The Mount of Olives in Jerusalem is full of deaths buried whom will be the first ones to be resurrected when the Jewish Messiah will descend according to the religious belief.

An extraordinary place. I had never realised that the Mount of Olives was a cemetary and always imagined it as covered with beautiful Olive Trees. Tyhanks for this interesting tabblo.

I already tolf my husband I want to be buried there but he doesn't want it 'cause he won't be able able to visit my grave there all the way from Holland if he would survive me.... Whatever, and if he would want to bury me there I think we'd still have a financial problem on that one hahaha & I'm not sure if there's enough space left for us to be buried beside each other or in the same grave...... LOL

Thanks Mirella, Max, Linda, Jorma, Celia, Farid and Pat for comments. These huge amounts of bones hidden in boring stone boxes really wake up somehow. You know that one space there costs really a lot! I could never have enough money to get a place. Okay, not really want either as a Lutherian and not a Jew but.. but.. yes, the truth is that the life is hard and.. then you die :)) Dank u, Danietsja Max, you only stayed by the pool and never wanted to see anything.. maybe next time u ready to spend few days for sightseeing... tuhat kiitosta kommenteista, halit Hugs
