Walking Home

Decided to leave my car at home. What better way to test my new p&s (Panasonic LX3) at low light levels. It's a short 30 minute walk anyway. Time flies when am holding my camera. Maybe next week will do a different route. :)

I should take note and change the aspect ratio. 16:9 seems too wide for tabblo. And am lazy to manually fix every image just to make it fit. LOL!

Hey you! Making Lemonade with your new Lx3. What a fab idea, Joaqs. Your 30 minute walk holds more excellent images than a lifetime in most. Nice nice nice. All of these images add up to a delightful collusion of a finely crafted collage. i have to come back to pick my faves!

ps the aspect ratio works for me!

Hi Pam. See the KFC chicken? Had to eat supper in between walks. Haha Actually, time frame from the first image to the last is about just under an hour. As for the aspect ratio, it doesn't fit this tabblo style. Everything is cropped!!! Too wide I guess. BTW- am making more than Lemonade. Am loving this little gem.

The photographer and his little gem are doing a fine job. Looking forward to more of your walks. The last shot of the smiling boy is a sweet portrait.

Hey Joe.
Glad you liked the tab. Thanks too. As for the lens, it's a F2.0 24mm Ultra Wide Angle* LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON Lens

I encourage you to keep leaving your car at home and enjoy your walk taking photos like these.

Eduardo, it doesn't feel like walking. Maybe I'll just do that for a couple of days. This way, I get to save on gas as well. :) Thanks mucho.

Yes, you get to save on gas, help saving the planet and take very interesting pics - so I think it's a good deal, and you should do it more often, not just for a couple of days. :)

I meant the aspect ration looked great, and I know what you mean. I was so happy when I finally dialed it in on my SLR. I rarly crop my photos for tabblo, and that is cool.

Always stop for the Colonel! My secret fast food indulgence. Can't picka favorite shot, they are all like one perfect image here.

Joaqs, I use the Canon SLR, but, when I edit in Aperture or iPhoto, i always check the master aspect ration to begin with , and then go from there. The photos are sized for tabblo use, perfectly. It just makes life simple. When I do some artistic cropping, i use manual aspect mode and then can create my own configuration, but they don't always fit nicely in the tabblo boxes.

i keep typoing ratio! sorry!
