Chilla said at 2:55 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: As always you manage to capture the good, the bad and the ugly and present the reality of the scene you are observing. The first image is really excellent and the child in white captured in the light and finally the bike near the end, a bit of simplicity is gentle on the eye
Joaqy said at 2:56 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: Tough one looking for a heart in NYC. Maybe on weekdays? :D Nice tab.

Pkeener said at 9:03 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: Hey Guys! Those pants and the Tshirt up in the corner!! I was thinking, must have made a fast change and a quick getaway. AND more importantly, why hadn't somebody grabbed that seemigly brand new pair of jeans? Only in NYC. That was in Midtown. Leftie. 38 was for you, ov korse. isn't that window beautifu...? Michelle, thank you, girl. Noreen, I replied on your gorgeous tabblo. These shots are from all over the city and I wanted to tie them together, so the Waits song seemed appropro. Joe, I didn't feel any sadness, just people doing their thing. So, no pity. Celia, that IS NYC Good Bad and Ugly. with some Beauty sprinkled in. Thierry. Did you see the 53?
Chaitiamma said at 9:47 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: Thanks for sharing the nite scene of NY. Dont see many of the nite scene photos except on TV, you are a very brave lady !!!
JuDeck said at 9:56 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: Another nice series....love the lowrider in action??...and the shot of looking up the buildings and seeing the plane sent shudders down my spine...I think the person just disappeared out of their jeans and t-shirt (thats what happens in NYC)....MSG, went to countless concerts there...and I always love bike shots....nice job Keeners.
Pkeener said at 9:59 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: Jude, that plane shot gave me shivers, too. shades of 911? but it was a peaceful evening, and i managed to grab the shot in time. David, i didn't feel brave, i think NYC is safer than most think.
Cowgirl said at 10:00 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: You found the beat through the city. Love the airplane shot between the two bldgs. it ties into your tab the visit to ground zero.. Thanks for the tour .
Lifequest22 said at 10:13 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: Pam--you did a stellar job of finding the heart of Saturday night. #6--I know that place but I can't place it. It's a hotel????? This tab is a great ecclectic mix of the night scene in the City. The lost pants and the dizzying shot of the plane have got to be my favs. and looks like you got another glaring stare in the subway.
Pkeener said at 10:54 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: LInda, it's the PLAZA! Hey, Bobbi, youre welcome.

Ira said at 11:42 a.m. on Dec 11, 2008: I like urban night. When there is no excitement about grey day and absence of the sun. At the night in city is always bright. The people and houses accept the special forms and outlines. It is the mysterious world. Perfect photos of night New York. I think that its heart in lanterns, infinite movement and people. All together creates an amazing picture of life.

What was that red car doing??? It looks like it was rearing up on its back tires like a horse ready to go full gallop but in the middle of New York traffic! It's a very intriguing shot!
And that pair of pants on the steps - how mysterious! Was someone sitting there, just hanging, when an alien zapped it away leaving only the pants behind?
Sirnicolay said at 11:46 p.m. on Dec 11, 2008: I LOVE NY City more with your shots, Pam. It's the only place in US that I'm dying to see. :)

Pkeener said at 9:40 a.m. on Dec 12, 2008: Hey guys! The flying car was being towed, but the way I shot it, the motion blur makes it look like it is getting ready for lift off!
I think we should all meet in New York and have a Phot Field trip. James can be our leader, coz he is so good at it!
Abking said at 11:34 p.m. on Dec 12, 2008: A lot of nice stuff here, busy New York night. I like the opening shot, the figure coming out of the dark. I had to return to the flying car and the plane above the skyscrapers. Both elements really change those shots.
EMA said at 6:07 p.m. on Dec 13, 2008: WoW! Great mix of photos of the busy night in NY. You captured it all: the beauiful and the dirty. All is part of the big city. Excellent work, Pam!

RBergquist said at 8:12 a.m. on Dec 21, 2008: Very, very good. Street shooting can be difficult, and dangerous to say noting about night shots. Lots of interest, drama and curiosity here. The last bold people shot really got my attention. Go Pam.
Wattree said at 9:46 a.m. on Dec 21, 2008: You should do more on this theme--or maybe one on jazz, and call it "Round Midnite." That would be a natural for New York--famous jazz clubs, musicians in concert, musical instruments in different configurations, instruments in pawn shop windows, etc.
Pkeener said at 10:01 a.m. on Dec 21, 2008: I love jazz and am very familiar with Round Midnight. The club and the song. I do a lot of my tabblos with a musical title or theme inspired by muscians.
Hi Richard! thank you. it didnt feel dangerous, but i think the mood of this tabblo portrays a dark side. Mike! welcome back. cant wait to see your travel shots
PhotoPop said at 11:42 a.m. on Dec 31, 2008: The surreal landscape of a New York Saturday night with Tom Waits shredded voice in the background. Well conceived and well done. Now, where is my Tom Waits CD with this song on it?
Zippywinds said at 3:17 p.m. on Jan 28, 2009: aw the city that never sleeps. and the drama continues, brilliant :)
