My word! I have not heard of an ice storm before, looks scary! Excellent pictures showing the effects of the ice.

Great reportage... it reminds me of something I experienced in Wisconsin during my childhood...we had no electricity for 5 days !

Ohhh..Portland is famous for these kinds of storms also...beautiful and deadly...our giant Douglas Firs have a way of dropping huge limbs or just falling over altogether- Keep safe Eric.
