A small paradise in Jerusalem

Yemin Moshe and Mishkenot Sha'ananim form a small picturesque area near the Old City and Jaffa Gate.

 

The stone windmill of Sir Moses Montefiore looks so lovely thus never worked, not to the right direction they say.

 

Not yet seen all in Jerusalem but absolutely one of my favorite places.

lovely! I imediatly recognized Mishkent sha'ananim, one of the richer parts of Jerusalem as I remember... And yes the windmill is a very strang thing indeed, one never expects to find it over there! I also like the Chassid with his traditional clothing and the STRIPED socks lol :)))))

Yes Heli- this cat is really sitting and looking just like in paradise and the other pics are also very harminical-great shots!!!

Heli, what a beautiful part of Jerusalem.It looks like a peaceful haven in this troubled city. The windmill is so unexpected! Lovely shots here.

In Finland all we see at the moment is RAIN, not even snow!
