Princess Galyani died on January 2, 2008. The state funeral was held the week that I was in Thailand, and this display in Chiang Mai was part of the memorial to the Princess.

Love the lamps at the temple shots, Saul! :) I feel so envious; I haven't tried riding an elephant before. Haha! The video was also cool.. Reminds me of rural Philippine sceneries. :)
