The knight's hall of Castle Dankwarderode

The Royal Palace of Henry the Lion, Duke of Saxony and  Bavaria, was built in the 12th century. It's knight's hall displays wall paintings so rich in colour, I couldn't turn my eyes away from them. See yourself.

 

These pictures were taken in Braunschweig (Brunswick) on

28 December 2008 with a bridge camara without flash and without tripod.

This wall is actually straight, but I had no patience to try further with the panorama stitching tools.
