CSU-Wyoming "Border War," November 22, 2008

Despite being held the weekend before Thanksgiving, when you'd expect it to be cold and windy, the 100th annual CSU-Wyoming "Border War" game weather sunny, warm, and not very windy.

Like a lot of families in Northern Colorado, our alliegiances were split. Our immediate family has four who are attending (or graduated from) CSU, but one who rebelled and became a U-Wyo Cowpoke.

Ultimately the game ended up the same way: lively competition with the lead switching back and forth I-don't-know-how-many-times (5?), but with CSU ultimately winning in the end (Hey, somebody had to!). And as a result of winning this game, CSU went on to compete in the New Mexico bowl, a good start for Coach Fairchild's first season with the Rams. Unfortunately it was also Wyoming Coach Glennie's last game.

Again, battery problems kept me from capturing the entirety of the event (the back-ups didn't have as much charge as I thought). But you get the idea. :D
