By the way, that rattlesnake was just 5 feet from where we were on our towels on the ground - which is why we moved to the elevated bench! Some locals killed it and threw it in the back of their truck when it crossed the road about 10 minutes after I took that rather shaky picture. But that was our first trip to Mexico and I can't wait to return.
