The builder of our home heard me talking about photography, and gave me the opportunity to do  photos for them.

 

This model will be featured inside a beautiful real estate magazine, "Parade of Homes", and the night shot will be on the cover.

 

I did it for free, but I will get the photo credits.

It was a great learning experience, as I have never done this type  of work, and this was for somebody other than just me!

 

I was nervous ( I didn't tell THEM that!) but I gave it a good try and they LIKED IT!

 

I had to shoot with all kinds of bad light...too dark ,too light, night shots, interiors

It was a challenge, but I had fun!

 

This home is the same as ours, but ours is the reverse of this layout.

 I found by shooting something that I am the least comfortable with , or I have trouble with , forces me to grow as a photographer... :)

All the so-called "secrets of success" will not work unless you do.

thanks Michelle, Saul..yes, i used the tripod except for the one master bath shot, i was nearly in the shower! LOL!!!!!!

Hey Deb....Remember that shot of the vanity in the bathroom from hell? You actually WERE in the shower, all scrunched down so the top of your head wouldn't be reflected in the mirror. That was a fun, but LONG day. You worked your little buns off on this one and your hard work paid off. You did yourself proud! :)

Hi Debra, This is a very successful challenge. The contents of which illustrates well the most important aspects of this beautiful location. After all, we can always buy the perfect house, but it is the location that is most important. Inside, you have captured the ideal views and mixed the lighting so well, but outside you have maintained the natural ambience and emphasised a warm inviting home. Surrounding views is there as well. Enough information to temp even the most remote home seeker to take a closer look. Well done! Mike.

Your focus, and white balance here is perfect but what really sets these apart is your exceptional composition. I can easily see that you too the time and effort to compose each image with care. The horizon, the lens selection, and the overall details captured truly make this a home people want to see and live in! Great job, Deb! It looks just like it did when I toured the house with you only better. Love the shot in the corner of the master bedroom, you had the blinds adjusted perfectly for a lovely lighting effect.
