Pkeener said at 1:25 a.m. on Jan 23, 2009: Thank you Michelle! #2 was shot in Soho. A huge advertisement. Noreen, I don't have a telephoto, so i had to be fast! it was in Soho and the streets are narrow and easy to get in and out of. M, thank you for your observation. I shot all these in October, so i don't know if it's anything new about the compositions, or just the way I put the set together. New York was inspiring, though, and I did have to point my camera a bit differntly to get what I wanted. The buildings are so tall and tight, that it was a challenge to capture the light while it was so magical. The second to last was a church we popped into during twilight mass.

Chilla said at 2:48 a.m. on Jan 23, 2009: Another interesting NY tabblo Pam. I like the pictures of the taxis best, they bring a vibrancy and colour to the city streets. In London the cabs all used to be black but now they appear in many other colours as well as blak which is so much better.

Edu #1 is my fave, too.I couldn't believe the light and the way the sky looked. I am eager to see more of your photos from NYC! Those water towers are the coolest thingsl. I loved seeing them all over the place. Hey Oscar! Tudo Bem? thank you. Mike, that shot really grabbed me, too. It was after a long day of walking the city and I also thought of Rear Window. Celia I tried to grab as many shots of the cabs as i could. To me, they were the underlying theme of the city.
