MY MOM AND HER GREAT GRANDSON
 
HE LOVES GOING UP THERE TO SEE HER.
 
THE SIGN SAYS HOW IT IS. THIS IS THE RESIDENTS HOME AND THEY WORK FOR THEM.
 
THIS IS THE NEW S.W. ANGIE!
 
THEY DO ALL KIND OF ACTIVITIES, THEY TAKE THEM SHOPPING, OUT TO LUNCH, THEY EVEN TAKE THEM TO PLAYS AND FISHING IN THE SPRING. HOW MANY NURSING HOMES DO THAT.

THIS IS THE NURSING HOME MY MOM IS IN. IT IS A VERY NICE FACILITY. ITS SO CLEAN AND BRIGHT. THEY HAD AN OPEN HOUSE TO WELCOME THE NEW SOCIAL WORKER, ANGIE. SHE IS AN ANGEL. SHE IS JUST AWESOME WITH THE RESIDENTS. THEY ARE TREATED LIKE PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE TREATED. IT IS A GREAT PLACE.

THE ACTIVITY DIRECTOR GLORIA. SHE IS A BALL OF FIRE. SHES ALWAYS GOT SOMETHING GOING ON FOR THESE PEOLE.
 
HE LOVES HE RESIDENTS. HE EVEN LIKES HIS PICTURES TAKEN WITH THEN COOL!!

Rhonda~ if all care facilities could be like this one...it wouldn't be so scary for people to have to leave their homes...I always think of the dear older people who have to say goodbye to a beloved pet and leave the home they love...this is a lovely bright place for your mom and I imagine she adores her visitor! :^)

This looks to be a happy place. So many care homes are soul less places. It saddens me to have seen old folk - which many of us may become - sitting, staring dolefully, living in the past, where they had full lives & their independence.

Its so comforting to know that your Mother is being well cared by caring people.Its also wonderful that you and your son share in her life.Your visits must be very important to her.I am a social worker in home health and sometimes my dities include placing people in nursing homes.I wish every town had one as nice as this.
