the night lights of the city, something always calls us to photograph them. heel mooi. en #1 lijkt op een modern schilderij.

Hi Gerard, I have seen this combination of coloured panes and framing used in a logo somewhere and it must have a greater meaning than meets the eye. I take it the building to the left of these windows is the same building judging by the opening glow. All shots are superb and must have been made with the use of a tripod or you are using a fast ISO and noise reduction software. The last scene is timeless, only the high rise gives it a date, but having the low cloud was adds both framing and steam train atmosphere to an already lovely scene. Well done Gerard. These could be scenes from both Strangers on a Train, The Ladykillers 1955 or to a lesser extent Rear Window. Mike.

Wonderful !!!
Gerardfotografeert said at 5:26 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
Thank you Mike and David. The buildings on photo 1 and 2 are 2 differnt buildings. The building on photo 1 is the "Westpoint tower" in Tilburg and it is one off the highest residential towers of the Netherlands. And yes i've used a tripod for these shots. with the selector button on night shooting and the white-balance set on artificial. The photo's are taken without flash.
Thank you again for your visit and inspiring comments.

Very good night shots! The first skyscraper is very good; no need using flash if you use tripod; the second one, yes, is Mondrian! The last one has a fantastic perspective. Ciao
