First-class set, Eduardo. The fences and shadows are awesome.....as is that ball cap:)
Hollyridger said at 1:28 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
Superb photography - love the fence/shadow shots but my fav is the sixth from the bottom for it's simplicity and composition.
Eduardo.affonso said at 1:30 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
Hi, ANDRE & MIKE! These are my brother Hubbley and his wife Judit, who took me for a few hours of pure delight in Cape Cod. There we found a deserted beach, old fences, shadows, shells, seagulls & snow - what else could I ask for? Not to mention the fact of being with people I love!
Fabio_DL said at 1:38 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
Very nice! Massachussets ans New England - cold this time of the year, but always beautiful. Have you been to Vermont? Don't miss the state.
Eduardo.affonso said at 1:42 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
NOREEN: Simplicity is usually the key for the best compositions, uh?

FABIO: I visited Vermont just once, a thousand years ago (ok, it was about only 25 years ago, but it seems to have happened in a former life...). It's a beautiful place, specially during Fall. Hope I will get there again, next time I visit the US - and maybe we can meet for a cup of coffee.

Un beau soleil d'hiver et la chaleur d'une rencontre fraternelle. Salut Eduardo.
Eduardo.affonso said at 1:58 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
Oops, FABIO... I made a mistake, and thought you had written "don't miss MY state" (referring to Vermont).
Eduardo.affonso said at 2:01 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
THIERRY: It was a great "rencontre fraternelle", indeed. And I think my brother was infected by the virus of photography... He has been taking very good photos - and is one of the newest tabbloers.
Swedfinn said at 2:27 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:

Eduardo.affonso said at 3:00 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
Thank you, JORMA & CELIA. Fences & shadoes are a classic, and I couldn't resist.
Nmat said at 3:24 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
Stunning, Eduardo. I love the way the the shadows remind you of the ripples which remind you of the shadows and over again, love the iced-over seaweed and the whale fluke made by the shadow of the rope-tie.
Mjpileggi said at 3:34 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
That first photo is fabulous!
Leftofcenter said at 5:01 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:

Eduardo.affonso said at 5:39 p.m. on Jan 24, 2009:
NANCY: I'm happy to "see" you again! Where have you been? Playing with shadows is always fun, you can almost draw with them, finding new shapes, textures.

MONICA: It's my favorite from this series.

ANNELIES: Yes, but none of us dared to dive or swim... Thanks for adding it to your faves. I know I'm in good company, there.

My favorites are the pictures with the wicker screens in the shadow of the snow .Like Debby said...so fine to be with your loved ones.
Rita.Mandarino said at 8:30 a.m. on Jan 25, 2009:
Lindas fotos Edu, como sempre. Adorei a areia mistura da areia com a neve, paisagens completamente estranhas...a minha associação de areia com mar , sol, e calor resiste as suas belas eimgens. Lindo tabblo. Seu irmão parece com vc, só que um pouco mais "cheinho" rs
Leftofcenter said at 9:17 a.m. on Jan 25, 2009:
weird way to describe your bro... he's cute, younger and there's more of him, and that's cool! (I know, pj...)

La première est superbe, l'ambiance magique!! Merci!!
L810th said at 4:17 p.m. on Jan 25, 2009:
A good play with patern and shadows Eduardo. no.12 is my favourite with vortex and line attraction, but No.1 is again a great lead in photo and with excellent choice of font too. Family can be a distraction at times when the crative juices start to flow, but I hope it was a great day for all of you and these photos will be treasured moments for sure. Mike.
MARGALIT said at 10:39 p.m. on Jan 25, 2009:

Shenresi said at 1:07 a.m. on Jan 26, 2009:
wonderful tabblo, Eduardo!!! i the title " Cape Cold " would better fit it- lol -
Janer said at 5:03 a.m. on Jan 26, 2009:
I love everything in here. Kung hei fat choi, Edu! :)
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:12 a.m. on Jan 26, 2009:
DEBBIE, MARIAN: Photographing this "all American landscape" was a real challenge for me, and I was stuck on details, without being able to capture the particular atmosphere of Cape Cod. But being with my brother and sister-in-law, and photographing them, too, was the best part of that memorable day.

IRA: Love is in the air - all we have to do is breath it...

ANNELIES: Weird? Don't think so. He's really younger, stronger and more handsome. Judit picked the right bro, I'm sure...

LINDA: I wish we could have spent much more time together. But I was on vacations, they were not.

CHRIS: Off season is always the best season!
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:39 a.m. on Jan 26, 2009:
Dzieki, MALGORZATA! Merci, GAZELLE.

MIKE: Family is always a distraction, but in a good way - when I photograph people I love I just don't care about the best angle or best light, because that's not what really matters then. It's a relief not to look for the perfect shot. For me, chosing the "lead photo" and font is the most difficult part of making a tabblo - and it's the last thing I do. I must confess I never really cared about that until I saw your tabs and decided to improve mine.

PAM: Your fave of all times? Wow! It must have something I haven't noticed yet...

ANGELA: "Cape Cold" (as well as "Cape Cool") would fit perfectly :)

JANE: Happy New Chinese Year! I'm Taurus, so I think the Year of the Ox must bring something interesting to me, I hope...

Absolutely beautiful!
Ebucar said at 6:15 p.m. on Mar 19, 2009:
Estou de acordo no que diz respeito à praia. Gosto mesmo das praias do nordeste do Brasil, com coqueiros e água bem morninha. Mas, apesar disso, sempre quis ir a Cape Cod.
