'Eating out at Fred & Wilma's.'

After dining among dinosaurs in such direly dangerous, deadly surroundings, a treat at Ghirardelli's rounded off the adventure.

RIP Martha Earp from Wichita Falls.  Let's hope that her husband, Elmer, got some great shots of her last moments in Fred & Wilma's. They would make a great tabblo.

Note:  While we were dining here, a little, old lady from Wichita Falls asked her hubby to take a photo of her standing in front of T-Rex.

Unfortunately, she got far too close to the beast, and was gobbled up before you could say 'Steven Spielberg'.

The incident almost (but not quite) put me off the brontosaurus burger I was eating.

When will people learn that dinosaurs are highly dangerous creatures?

You are a liar, Mike, but a very funny one! LOL LOL LOL!

A liar, Kris!!! Me? Okay, I admit to using a modicum of mendacity on occasion:)
Leftofcenter said at 7:19 a.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
Did you even TRY to rescue her??? I know a little boy who LIVES in a dino's mouth. And he's happy. True story. With the time zone, I wake up to your tabs, Fox. Puts a smile on my face. Thanks. YABBA DABBA DO!!!

See Kris has got to know you !! Your pics show our mammoth adventure so well, great story. :-) Now I understand why you asked me to pose near T-Rex! ----there but by the grace of Wilma, T-Rex would have had a Tricker treat

Wow this is one fantastic place to dine in thanks great shots
Wildthing said at 7:48 a.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
SNO': The T-Rex backed-off when you approached it. The overgrown lizard knew that you'd give it indigestion:) SCULLY: Of course I didn't attempt to rescue her. I was too busy trying to get the picture, but the first gout of blood covered my camera lens, so I have no record of the incident:)

Most amusing - great photos. Those deserts look dangerous.
Wildthing said at 7:59 a.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
TEO: It was a fun place. And the sound effects of roaring dinosaurs added to the experience. BOB: Those desserts were great. Isn't Ghirardelli's a Chicago-based company?

Lol! Naturally you were potected by nature against those beasts, otherwise we havent been able to see your splended tabblo with nice Ladies : )
Pkeener said at 9:40 a.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
Love the colors in the photos. Mike, great job on exposure. Love #5 and the jelly fish thingy!
Now, for the rest of the story. ALWAYS get the shot, so you did a fine job of capturing, bu a poor one of rescuing. All in a day's work, i guess.

Special Agent Pamsie K ovah and out..I'll have a double bronto with fires, please , and loads of ketchup. Yabba Dabba Doooooo!
Wildthing said at 10:46 a.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
I ain't in the 'Rescuing damsels in the jaws of a dinosaur' business, Pamsie. I'm an observer of life ( & death) in progress. And dinosaurs have to eat too:)
Wildthing said at 10:51 a.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
How can you tell those 'ladies' are nice, Jorma. I know them, but will refrain from putting any derogatory comments as to their dispositions.........So I'm a coward:)

AliDar said at 2:31 p.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
Very cool place! Sandy, never mind about Linda; if I got there first there wouldn't be anything left for her to steal. <g> ... Love the blue cave, and did you touch the jellyfish Mike?
Wildthing said at 2:36 p.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
ANNE, PAT: The food was dinolicious! DAR: Touch it? I ate it:) SANDY: This eatery isn't anywhere near the island. But Sanibel has a Dairy Queen. No dinosaurs, just raccoons.
AliDar said at 2:42 p.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
Poor Jelly fish... Does your belly glow now Mike?
Wildthing said at 2:52 p.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
It glowed before I ate the jellyfish. They're lime-flavored. Did you know that?
AliDar said at 3:01 p.m. on Jan 29, 2009:
Nope. lol, Mmmmmmm, I love lime.

What a place to dine---amongst replicas of corpses of extinct giants! I like the jelly fish shot and the happy faces of the live subjects in the photos! You certainly know how to make people smile.

Wildthing said at 4:50 a.m. on Feb 1, 2009:
Ha! Dino Mite. Like it, Deb. I don't think anyone has asked me where it is, til now. It's at Downtown Disney. We always have a day to kill back up in Orlando at the end of our Sanibel holiday. This hasn't been open long.
Wildthing said at 4:54 a.m. on Feb 1, 2009:
Hey, Karsten.....I think of tabblo as a meeting place, and that although it's photograph-based, the comments, private-messaging & making of new friends is all part of it. I don't think of myself as an artist. Just a guy who enjoys taking pics, & sometimes having fun with them.
HtD said at 11:37 a.m. on Feb 2, 2009:
