Road Trip - Pangasinan

PangASINan was one of the early provinces into which the island of Luzon was divided after the arrival of the Spaniards. Pangasinan was then formally created as a province by Governor-General Ronquillo de Penalosa in 1850.

Etymologically, the term Pangasinan means the "place where salt is made", owing to the rich and fine salt beds which were the prime source of livelihood for the province's coastal towns.

A local product that has become synonymous with Pangasinan is bagoong, or fermented fish sauce. Salt of course, is the prime ingredient. Mud-colored with a strong smell, bagoong has captured the national palate.

Very nice composition and effects! It gives a native feeling of our pinoy culture looking into your subjects and it also makes me want to go back home and see the place. Well done and keep it up ;-)

Bravo! I love the effects photos interspersed throughout. Those shots give the story a surreal slant and really pushes the viewer through the Tabblo. Great colors, angles, lighting and exposure...great work. I'm greedy and I want to see more so my only request would be a wider layout. Amazing job!
Ericf said at 8:56 a.m. on Jan 30, 2009:
and for some reason I really really like the shot of the colorful brooms.

MARIUS: I was about to write, yeah right...and there it is!

NOE, MIKE, WHYA, ROBERT, SHEILA: Gracias.

DEN: I couldn't publish full bodies...the girls were naked, I didn't think it was proper...not even for art's sake.

DIREKTONE: Maybe you should come and visit. There's so much to see.

ERIC: Much too kind. Thank you. As for the format, I don't know how to make them wider (like Thierry's). Which layout should I choose? I've been here for more than 2 years and still couldn't figure it out.

I particularly like the "Borderless 6 column" layout. I choose "medium" grid...try it and see if you like it.
