SUMILON Blue Water Island Resort

To all my Friends here in Tabblo, i just want to announce that i just got married last week.

i am now a HAPPILY Married MAN!

i have no time yet to post some of my wedding pictures.

but i will soon post some of my pictures taken during our pre nuptial photo session.

For our Honeymoon We went to this Island in The South, Sumilon Island. it is located at the southern tip of Cebu.

the island has an old watch Tower used by the Spaniards during the late 17th hundred and eventually by the japanese during the 2nd world war.

 

The Island has a rich marine life and the water is crystal clear. you can trek around the island and it will only take an hour.

it seems like the entire island is 1 big coral, you will see fossils even at the Top of the island.

 

The Resort is well maintained, and they have one of the best services i have experienced.

And finally the food, The resort is very Lucky to have a very Good Chef. The Food is FANTASTIC!

It is truly a wonderful feeling to receive such wonderful Messages.

How i took the shots for this Sumilon tabblo.
Sorry James but you are giving me to much credit by saying that the pictures are in HDR.
Rei is right.
all the images are single Shot with a slight manipulation in color & brightness.
so not a single picture is in HDR.
In most of the images, i used around 1 to 3 filters. (Im very old school been using this filters even when i was still shooting with film)
to make the midtones come out and to darken the highlights.
i used grey graduated filters (some times i would even use 2 filters because 1 is not enough).
the other filters i used would be a colored filter (yellow and blue) and a polarizing Filter.
i use a canon camera and in the picture style settings, i changed it from standard to landscape.
this brings out more color in the image.

Lenses
i used a 16-35 mm, a 14 mm and a 15mm fish eye lens

oh wow CONGRATULATIONS on your marriage ...many many happy years together for you both!
