Scorched: Xavier School Fair 2009

SCORCHED:

Xavier School Fair 2009

Every year, Xavier School pauses for a weekend of fun and celebration in its annual school fair. Teachers, staff, and students prepare the activities and the different gimmicks for weeks, just to make sure that once we open the gates to guests, family and friends, we will all have fun, rain or shine.

This year, the Fair committee chose a cowboy-themed celebration and named it, Scorched: Xavier Turns Up The Heat. Since the start of the week, there were various promotions in the school: cowboy hats, fair t-shirts, and concert tickets were being sold all over the campus. Everyone was feeling both excited and lazy for the upcoming event--excited because of the anticipation for fun; lazy due because of the 'fair fever.'

And suddenly, the day before the fair, when everyone was already constructing and cramming the booths, it rained.

Obviously, our spirits were not dampened by the weather. Many of us prayed that the fair would go on, rain or shine. And it did. It was fortunate that it didn't rain much today. The worst we had was some drizzling in the late afternoon.

So I guess, everyone had a great time today.

I'll be posting two more sets after this one. :)

To be continued...

Thank you, Ira, Andre, Mike, Thierry and Marius!

Mike, I was busy photographing everyone that I forgot to take a picture of myself with them. LOL. No baggy pants for me, though someone made me wear a cowboy hat... but I felt awkward wearing it. Haha!

Marius... as I said in the previous tab: Fun never ends. w00t! :)
