MOUNTAINS OF MUSIC

"HOW REAL LIFE IN THIS CANYON NOW BEGINS TO BE.  IT IS OPENING UP ITS SECRETS TO US AS WE THUS COME INTO IT.  WE ARE LEARNING TO LOVE IT, THEREFORE IT SHOWS ITS HEART TO US.  IT NO LONGER IS A THING TO BE LOOKED AT; IT IS A REAL SOMETHING, AN INDIVIDUALITY TO LOVE, TO LISTEN TO, TO QUESTION, TO HONOR"

Bryce is such a fairyland place. I've only been once, way back, but the memories of it are as vivid as the orange and pink turrets.

Hi Rhonda, These rich colours would really come alive with a grey or black background. My son toured the states about four years ago and I remember his photos of Bryce. He went down a good distance into the canyon. I can only imagine the colo(u)r of this rock after rainfall. with the greenery to contrast against. It is so hard to image how anything can take a foothold on that soil and on those slopes. Lovely views Rhonda. Mike.
