What is it???

What is it part of???

What is it used for???

Matt is just too smart... and quick... he got it on the 1st guess   ;-p

The Old Mill of Guilford

Founded along Beaver Creek in 1767 near Oak Ridge, NC it is still in operation 250 years later.

The mill produces all natural corn meals and grits along with a wide range of mixes including: sweet potato and oat bran muffin mixes, gingerbread, Scottish scones, Scottish shortbread, and heidesand cookie mix (a German shortbread).

The Old Mill of Guilford is a popular, scenic tourist attraction and has long been a favorite subject for artists and photographers.   It is located in Guilford County, North Carolina on Highway 68 N., 4 miles north of the Piedmont Triad International airport, Greensboro, NC.

My sister & I visited her daughter & family last week in Greensboro and they took us to the mill after we hiked up to one of the lookout points in Hanging Rock State Park.

Patty... you are close too...

It is a chute in a flour mill... and it takes the grain to the grinder thingie...

Good Job Matt & Patty!!!

I'll post the rest of the photos... and then try to think of something H-A-R-D... ;-p
