Doreen, after a few weeks of snow and freezing conditions we have enjoyed a respite today, I hope you start to enjoy better weather soon Dhampir, I use a digital SLR. Thanks Den there were signs of spring today, I live in hopes of warmer weather to come! Mirella and Ira, it was such fun seeing a field of scarecrows, these are but a few of the ones that were on display, and no Mike I didn't make any of them, sadly I am not that creative.

Chilla said at 3:40 a.m. on Feb 15, 2009: Thanks to everyone for the lovely comments. Fabio, this is a beautiful Garden that we visit regularly and it is beautiful throughout the year. Patty and Anke, my earlier tabblo 'These boots were made for walking' was created using photos from the same place, the gardeners here seem to take recycling very seriously!! Eduardo and Anke, two days ago we were under a layer of snow but yesterday there were real signs of spring approaching! These pictures were taken in Essex, England.

As we often visit these gardens I am always looking for something a bit different and interesting and I was delighted to find the scarecrows last week as well as the recycled boots! I too was delighted by the first picture and this was made more interesting as half the pond was covered by ice and therefore the reflections were a bit different.
