DEER HUNTING - with my camera :)

THIS IS MY LATEST OBSESSION. THESE DEER ARE IN A FOREST ABOUT A 15 MINUTE DRIVE FROM MY PLACE. THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THEM. I FIND MY TIME AROUND THEM VERY RELAXING.

I PLAN ON VISITING THEM AS OFTEN AS I CAN. I BELIEVE THEY ARE COMING OUT OF THE WOODS BECAUSE THEY ARE GETTING HUNGRY. IN A FEW WEEKS I WILL PROBABLE NOT SEE THEM AGAIN UNTIL THE FALL?

LOOK AT ME CLOSELY. YOU CAN SEE I'M STICKING OUT MY TONGUE...HAHA...GOT YA !

A SNACK FOR LATER ON.

THE PACKED DOWN TRAIL THEY TAKE REGULARLY.

ISN'T SHE (HE) DEAR OR DEER?

MORE SNOW...OH NO.

YUMMY CARROTS....ARE YOU SURE I CAN HAVE THIS?

YOU'RE BACK ... EVEN IN A SNOW STORM?

WE LOVE OUR CARROTS AND APPLES :) DOESN'T IT LOOK LIKE THEY ARE SMILING?

A NICE TREAT AFTER A LONG WINTER.

SEE YOU AGAIN SOON! An interesting and simple website about deer... http://www.saskschools.ca/~gregory/animals/deer.html

Linda you have some fine pictures of these shy creatures. They are clearly becoming accustomed to you and appreciate the food you take them. A beautiful tabblo!

Wondeful shots. I like them all, and especially the very first one. It would make an excellent Christmas card.

Getting this close by itself is awesome for me. I would be so excited that my aim would frighten them away. All these lovely photos tell a great story and you certainly braved the elements to get them. My favourite is #18 with their alertness and stance. You should bring a bale of straw the next time I suspect LOL. A really enjoyable up close and personal experience with natures most beautiful. Mike.

Thank you to everyone for you kind comments. I have returned several times since these pictures and I am still hoping for that extra special shot. I think they are getting to know my voice and realize that I am not going to hurt them. They are also enjoying the treats I am bringing them.
These animals have been great therapy for me. When I am with them everything is forgotten.

This would be a great time to see this lovely creations. This would also be a perfect target for hunters to have every hunting activities. Going out on hunting activities are one of the most memorable times that really needs to be captured. Like this shots, it was so GREAT!

I can never imagine shooting one of these beautiful animals. I would have to be very hungry. I am glad that there are areas where these deer are safe from being shot. These woods are in a NO HUNTING ZONES!
