ANNELIES: I told you about that Brazilian saying (it seems I've eaten dog's legs...). Some photos were taken in Little Italy, some in St. Catherine street, and some in places I will never be able to find again. There are many more, so I'll probably be left of center once again.

Love the graffiti.
Abking said at 8:16 p.m. on Feb 19, 2009:
Good painters in Montreal! Eating dog's legs and photography are a good combination.
Charlespop said at 8:44 p.m. on Feb 19, 2009:
Cool .....Why don't they have this stuff here in Tokyo-aka "the anime capital of the universe " ?
Moabjeeper said at 9:19 p.m. on Feb 19, 2009:
After London, my favotite city. Nice graffiti.

Great images Eduardo!!
Leftofcenter said at 9:41 p.m. on Feb 19, 2009:
what are those black rectangles in the layout? are there photos I can't see or is it part of the "abstract arty vibe" of this tabblo??
Ira said at 10:25 p.m. on Feb 19, 2009:
Wonderful and bright graffiti in winter. Very beautiful and expressive art.
Fabio_DL said at 12:28 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Edu, these are graffiti on steroids! Thanks for showing this angle of the always artistic Mont Real!
Welshchick said at 3:05 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
A jungle of color to brighten downtown~ Is that Alfred Hitchcock or some other gentleman...? Something tells me that the poor blonde lady hasn't quite realized that she just lost her body...
Chilla said at 3:06 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Excellent shots and the layout is so right for this. It is amazing to see street art like this.
Wildthing said at 4:12 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Must be the air in that part of the world. Seems the local sport is attacking any unsuspecting surface with loaded spray cans. Better than being a serial killer or mugging old ladies, I supose. Great feast of graffiti-laden Montreal. Mr Ed:) Hitchcock is for the birds!
Moorlerche said at 4:53 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
I usually hate graffities, but you have made it a collection of art.
Liliana said at 6:00 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Monumentales...¿Qué pasa que hay tanta influencia árabe?
Liliana said at 6:01 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
¿Es Hitchcock un personaje o me parece a mí...?¿Qué había alrededor?
Chrisengles said at 8:28 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Wow - some serious art going on in that city.
Sirnicolay said at 9:17 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
This is really wonderful, Edu! Very nice works of art! :)
Briandesouza said at 9:18 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Brilliant evokative images
PhotoPop said at 9:49 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Do you have to go to art school and get a licence to do graffiti in Montreal? Theses murals are way above average.
Doogieisdamann said at 9:54 a.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Very casual, and yet full of meaning. Amazing tabblo!
Debdog said at 12:13 p.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
what amazing street art....!!!!!! these are not just street graffiti! very talented people!
Eduardo.affonso said at 12:38 p.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Thank you, guys, for your comments! No surprise Annelies loves taking pics of Montrealer street art.

I don't know what Alfred is doing in that frozen corner of the world. As Mike said, Hitchcock is for the birds, and I guess all Canadian birds had already left for their Summer vacations in the sunny part of the globe.
Leftofcenter said at 1:07 p.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Alfred is facing Coco Rico, a Portuguese restaurant known for the BEST chicken in town, so he's as close to the sun as possible in Montreal in the winter!
Liliana said at 1:56 p.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Me gustó el juego de palabras del título.
Eduardo.affonso said at 2:22 p.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Hitchcock --> bird --> chicken. So, it makes sense to portrait Alfred in front of Coco Rico. By the way, ANNELIES, it's a funny name for a restaurant that serves chicken, because it means "rich chicken" and "cocoricó" (written as one only word) is the sound cocks and hens make (in Brazil and Portugal, at least).

Liliana said at 3:15 p.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Muy creativo el uso del espacio (izquierda, centro) en tu título (LOL LOL LOL). Creo que el título da para "Estando a la izqyierda del centro" y "Siendo Leftofcenter". Genialidades y sutilezas que el español puede decir gracias a ser y estar... Pero pierde el juego, la duplicidad... Buen desafío para un "traduttore / tradittore" (nosé si llevan doble te, perdón...).
Leftofcenter said at 4:54 p.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
so we agree then, it's the PERFECT name for that restaurant.
Liliana said at 5:19 p.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Otra de traducción: ¿es un pollo un "bird": pájaro? Es un ave, no un pájaro... ¿O bird es ave, también? Ja, ja, no lo sé. "Ave, Caesar, morituri te salutant"...
Chiste bobo:
-Pájaro, César.
- Ave, Bruto.
¿Se entiende?
Eduardo.affonso said at 7:20 p.m. on Feb 20, 2009:
Em Inglês, "bird" é usado tanto para pássaro quanto para ave. Daí a expressão "bird flu", que não é nenhuma febre de pajaritos, e, sim, febre aviária. Algo parecido com o Português, no qual usamos a palavra "peixe" para peixe (vivo) e pescado.
Shenresi said at 3:06 a.m. on Feb 21, 2009:
wow, what a great Graffity- Art you pictured here Eduardo!!!I like the headless blond girl!!
WEIMAR said at 4:07 a.m. on Feb 21, 2009:
ohh Edu, these street art, you took, is great and you did a prudently work!!!
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:13 a.m. on Feb 21, 2009:
Thank you a lot, ANGELA & HEIDI. The bodyless (not headless... LOL) blond girl is my favorite, too.
Bxrgirl27 said at 9:51 a.m. on Feb 21, 2009:
Love the titile! And the pictures too - nice tour!
Liliana said at 10:07 a.m. on Feb 21, 2009:
¡Fiebre de pajaritos, ja, ja! Igual, no es lo mismo pájaro que pajarito (pássaro/ passarinho???), es "fiebre aviar".
Mirella said at 3:53 p.m. on Feb 21, 2009:
Graffiti di ogni specie!!! Veramente opere d'arte, the last one is really a "trompe l'oeil" .Mo ntreal is a great city! By the way, in Italy also we say: cocorico'. Ciao
Loes said at 7:22 p.m. on Feb 21, 2009:
What a wonderful street art and nice imaging Eduardo!
EMA said at 2:37 p.m. on Feb 22, 2009:
Vivo balançando entre o amar e o odiar graffity. Amo os trabalhos dos mestres e odeio a sujeira que outros, sem qualidade, rabiscam sobre os belos trabalhos já feitos. Odeio a sujeira feita em qualquer lado, sem respeito nenhum por nada, nem coisa nenhuma. Claro qu e seu tabblo está excelente! Adoro o modo como escolhe as partes mais interessantes e as combina com outras numa composição cheia de arte. Tudo de bom!
Pkeener said at 10:15 a.m. on Feb 25, 2009:
