Moorlerche said at 6:33 p.m. on Mar 1, 2009: Due to lack of information I have always imagined Kiev as a big industrial an poluted place, probably because the memories of the accidents at Tschernobyl are so impregnated into my mind. And if one reads something about the former Sowjet Union, it's mostly about opression, torturing and spying on its people. I completely forgot, that it is also a vast country with low population in most areas. Thanks for bringing this back to me with your wonderful pictures. I hope to see more of these :-)
