Are these offerings? I remember seeing floating flowers like these in India and Thailand, mainly in temples. As Pat said, it's relaxing and beautiful.

And thank you Terriculture and Eduardo. Yes, these are offerings at a Thai friend's house. They change the flowers everyday. The blue flower is a man-made flower used to hold a small candle.
