keep on dancing

I was at a day of dancing with the "PROFUNK" team - everything from showdance ( the 80's are back) to hiphop

just a little strobist info: Usually it's no fun to take pictures in a large place with rather dim lights, but thanks to www.strobist.com I have seen the light.

I used two nikon sb 25 flashes and my radio triggers. The flashes were mounted onto the light stands around the dance floor with gaffers tape

Gaffers tape - keeps the universe together:-)

Hi Rhonda - yep, that's Ida on the far left and her team "x-clusive". March 14th they're going to the contest HipHop International, and they're sooo ready:-)

Gaffers Tape Rules!! These are great. Bertil Good luck to Ida and the X-clusive! although, i be t they won't need it. Great tabblo full of energy. Do you have to have a flash mounted on the camera, as well?? to sync?

Hi Pamela - if they win the contest they can participate in HipHop International in Las Vegas:-)

I use this trigger http://www.gadgetinfinity.com/product.php?productid=16766&cat=0&page=1 and it works smooth. You just put a transmitter in your camera hot shoe and a reciever on every flash. The range is over 20 meters, the second last shot is taken from the far corner and it is pretty obivious where my flashes are heehee......

Great series - so glad to see more than sunsets and scenery - real people, kids. Now that my kids are grown, I miss the opportunities to photograph them and their friends.
