here's the culprit! A red shouldered hawk! They hunt at birdfeeders
 
Unknown purple wildflower
 
The end of a perfect day! :)
 
Reminds me of a Batik print~pine trees on water

   I thank you God for this most amazing day,

 

for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and

 

 for the blue dream of sky and for

everything which is natural,

 

which is

infinite,

My body needs food and water,and my soul needs to be fed too.

Being so busy moving and settling in has left me with little time to just BE.....

 

Today I was finally free to go out and enjoy my favorite time of day, when the late afternoon sun bathes everything in golden light.

 

I walked in my new backyard and common area near the woods.

Camera in hand, and longing to use my new friend(the 300mm lens) and LOOKING for something to photograph.

 

I sat on the grass and just let the images reveal themselves to me.

 

I listened to the birds,(then the hawk that scared them off)

and sat ,quietly grateful for all I have in my life.

 

When I stopped trying, I started  SEEING...  :)

Hi debra i was right your creativity is going through the roof this is so beautifull i dont know where to begin this tabblo is makeing me cry soul food this is I love water & how it can change at a every moment every pic a jewel/diamond/golden moment in time captured for ever never to be repeated so spiritual every day alive & breathing is a perfect day even tho we may complain some times we realy dont mean it, THIS IS "WOW"

Holy Smokes! This is great Deb! I started picking photos to note as my favorites but they're all so good. I guess I like the 3 horizontal plant shots but then...I like the the little purple wildflower shot where you focus us on one of the flowers. The falcon shots are spectacular too, nice work all around.

beautiful shots, but collage is absolutely magic.

The perfection of natural beauty presented here in this beautiful tabblo. I totally agree with the need just to BE sometimes and how communing with nature is definitely the way to go! Your choice of photographs is lovely with the very delicate wild flowers and the different ways the water moves and reflects light. You have also managed to capture the hawk so well. So difficult to choose a favourite shot - perhaps the very first one. I knew when I opened this tabblo it was going to be good but I had no idea how good. Wonderful layout, too!
