A Walk in the Park

Izzie & I have moved... This lovely park is only a few blocks away and so every day weather permits we walk over to it and then around the "lake" on the hike/bike trail...  about a 2 mile walk total...  I can't wait for it to be green again...

We've interrupted a cat pondering how to catch the fish swimming below... now he crouches warily eying Izzie to see if she will attack... she doesn't.

I live just northeast of downtown (the star in the photo)...

The park & lake are in the bottom - left 1/4 above the hand...

You can see it is very long and narrow... the lake dirty brown looking in this photo... but it's beautiful in person. 

   The golf course is at the bottom... with the backward Z ...

 

Main Street... downtown Henderson left...

All photos taken about 5:30pm as the sun was getting ready to set...

taken with my new Lumix DMC-LX3 camera that Matt got me for Christmas...

Very beautiful and peace photos. Reflections on silent water as in a mirror. The gentle spring light-blue sky. The bridge and sleeping cat. A nature meeting spring. Perfect tabblo. A wonderful place.
