Immediately when I have seen this tabblo the song "Über den Wolken" of Reinhard Mey popped up in my mind. Here is the translation of the text and links to listen to the song on youtube:

Above the clouds:

1) Wind northeast, runway zero-three, -
even here I can hear the engines. -
Like an arrow it passes me, and its sound drones in my ears, -
and the wet asphalt trembles. -
The rain is dusting like a veil, -
until it takes off and it floats towards the sun. -

Ref.: Above the clouds freedom must be boundless. -
All fears, all worries, folk says -
would be hidden below and then -
everything, that seemed big and important, would be void and small. -

2) For a long while my eyes linger on it, -
watching it climbing the clouds, -
until the lights are disappearing by and by in the rainy greyness. -
My eyes have already lost that little dot. -
Only from afar the humming of the engines is still to be heard. -

Refrain -

3) Then everything is quiet. I leave. -
Rain is penetrating my jacket. -
Somebody is making coffee, -
in the shack of the air traffic control. -
Benzine is swimming in the puddles, -
dazzling as a rainbow. -
Clouds are reflecting in them. -
I would have liked to be flying in that plane. -

Refrain -

Songs and poems are hard to translate propperly. Each language has it own words for describing fealings. Listening to the song you will see in German as well as in French the text has a totally different rythm and melody. With this song Reinhard Mey became Germany's most famous singer-songwriter and even came to fame in France and the Netherlands. He started his career at the end of the sixties and is still giving concerts every two years, the tickets mostly sold via internet before they reach the presales office in the cities and towns.
