CCBB is a cultural center in Rio. I'm designing its new library (that's why I spent the day today wandering around the building, and saw this exhibition, and took these pics). It's an amazing building, and I hope the new library (the entire 5th floor) will be an attraction for visitors, too.

Parabéns pelas fotos Eduardo! belos exemplos de foco seletivo.O prédio parece imponente também.
Lifequest22 said at 9:47 p.m. on Mar 17, 2009:
All the different angles and perspectives definitely make for some good surrealism.
Liliana said at 9:48 p.m. on Mar 17, 2009:
¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡Todas esas Iemanjás ... en un trencito (?) de madera, rodeadas de sombrillas, bajo una cúpula...!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ecléctico, extraño, original, luminoso, gracioso, irónico, fuerte y personal, todo junto. Bien Brasil.

Fantastic design......obligado !
Eduardo.affonso said at 9:57 p.m. on Mar 17, 2009:
Obrigado, OSCAR.

LINDA: I found this repetition absolutelly surreal, all these goddesses in a queue, going to nowhere, so far from the ocean that is their home...

Andre. said at 10:26 p.m. on Mar 17, 2009:
Somehow I like #14...
Eduardo.affonso said at 10:38 p.m. on Mar 17, 2009:

ANDRE: #14? I added it just because I needed another vertical image... My favorite is #2 (but of course it`s not important at all).
Andre. said at 11:03 p.m. on Mar 17, 2009:
Well, I like vertical images then:))))

Made me think of the Chinese terracotta soldiers. The center looks to be a beautiful building.
Mirella said at 5:58 a.m. on Mar 18, 2009:
Surrealistic, indeed. I like the n.2, too. Ciao
EMA said at 6:48 a.m. on Mar 18, 2009:

tok about Duplicity! this is great, as Linda said, the way you put this together makes it feel even more fantastic
Moabjeeper said at 12:45 p.m. on Mar 18, 2009:
Great shot of the interio dome.
Moorlerche said at 2:57 p.m. on Mar 18, 2009:
Besides the cupola I favour #6. One sharp face between varying degrees of unsharpness. One angel standing out of the masses. But most brilliant is the tabblo as a whole. Each change of angle leads to a change in priorities on the photo. Each photo bears a different meaning thought the motive is the same. Great.

Adorei Edu.

I always love your statue photos and these are no exception. As The Artist Formerly Known As Prince sang, "There's Joy in Repetition."
Ira said at 11:31 p.m. on Mar 18, 2009:
Perfect combination of distinct and indistinct effects.
Debdog said at 11:22 a.m. on Mar 19, 2009:

Hi Eduardo: what brilliant shots. I was showing and reading it to Christopher and he told me to tell you that he also went to the library yesterday (it looked differrent, though, says mommy) and he got his first library card and took 6 six books. H ealso showed me a car that he got from Eduardo and an air plane that took him to Brazil.
Anyway, your pictures are brilliant. Where are all these goddesses marching to....... Judit and Christopher
Welshchick said at 3:03 p.m. on Mar 19, 2009:

Gorgeous shots Eduardo!

the beach umbrellas clash with the majesty of the dome! I love the repetition of Iemanja, the blur (hey that's MY thing!) and the angle from the back and she does look a bit like me doesn't she? ;)))
very original tab.
