Gibson's sooooooooo laid back, like he's seen it all, this tab could be titled: THE GIVING DOG. he's so good to Carter.. and the lil' dude of course, whatta cutie thug face, it's like I was there with ya the whole time, I miss him too now!!

Annelies, how funny you mention the "giving dog" because i just found my copy of "The Giving tree" when i moved! reread it last night.
Gibson is quite possibly, the coolest dog on earth, but i am sure all you dog owners might argue that one ;) I just love hanging out with those two and the shots just happen! I must say, though, the Grandma Roll was considerably shorter this visit! Carter is constantly on the go and It was hard to capture him! Even with the flash...which i really tried not to use. these are all natural light.

Well, this made me smile the whole scroll down. A real picture book story with your sequences. And you can see just how proud Carter is of his major accomplisment---"I conquered Mount Gibson. I climbed to the summit and back down safely."

Pam, these are truly wonderful shots. Carter is special but Gibson is EXTRA special! I hope that Carter will be able to show these photos to his grandchildren one day - wouldn't that be cool!

This is sooo precious and heart warming.There is definitely a special bond between Gibson and Carter.Gibson appears to be so patient with his little friend and bet he is protective of him.

John, you know, i was waiting for that one, and i kinda thought it would be you, or allan that would say it. lol
speaking of old cartoons, for some reason, Mark and Amy have taken to calling Carter and his stuffed Bunny, Mr Magoo. when I asked them if they knew the original Mr Magoo was a bumbling, half blind cartoon character, with Jim Bacus' voice (of course I had to describe him as Mr Howell on Gilligans Island, which was a stretch, but they both watched Nick at Night as kids) They looked at me with blank faces. So, I had to send them the youtube! What a world we live in. Anyway, it turns out, that when Carter talks about his bunny, he calls it MAAH-GOO. baby talk for something complex, I am sure...
