Love this, Dar. Mega intelligent surreality. I want to see the new mural when it's released. I wonder about old Jack's life & times, and KNOW where my s@#! goes. It winds up on TV in the guise of entertainment:)

Wildthing has it right "mega intelligent surreality". I love this eclectic collection of the surreal and the super surreal !
Tishfish said at 8:43 a.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
This is reality ! ! ! ! The world as we know it.
Tishfish said at 8:45 a.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
BTW Dar, seriously thinking of getting a MAC, this one is driving me crazy. Thought I would add this here because we can't seem to chat on Cam anymore and I am even having problems getting my mail in Windows Live and wondering if Yahoo would be better.
Pkeener said at 9:26 a.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
great slice of life, Dar. cerebral shooting here. Perfectly put together right down to the No EXit from the back. I see a mobile bag/cart person! I feel like we are all taking this walk with you. missed your stuff and glad you are back.
PS Doreen, you wont regret it. the MAC

Thanks for taking us on your search Dar~compelling, sad and touched with bits of humor all at the same time!

Brilliant, as usual. Love "Beware of chicken" (any double meaning intended?).
Bravemoonbearer said at 12:23 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
Cool collection and insightful.Congrats on TOD.
Candlepower said at 12:48 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
The old man Jack is so sad I want to reach out and hug him. Hope he gets help! Congratulations on TOD!
AliDar said at 12:48 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
Hey Good Morning! I wasn't expecting comment, let alone getting TOD (waving to Eric :) ) This was just something I sorta needed to do.

Mike thank you, I'm thinking surreality is more real than we think though. And have you been watching Dancing with the Stars again? <G>

Thanks Celia, it's thought provoking for me as well. :)

Thanks Charles, :) ... but super surreal? Maybe our entire existence is just a dream....

LOL, Kudos to you Mom, for pointing out the obvious. :) And I can't wait till you get your Mac; like Pam says, you won't regret it. :)

Thanks Pam! :) Mobile is the only way to be.... I missed being here too.

Wendy, I like that very much, quirky and yet deep. Thank you :)

Thank you Oscar. :)

Thank you Ira; the world is an interesting unusual sight. :)

That's wild isn't it Den? We were walking down the street and there he was just sitting there on the coach, smiling. We had no idea why the couch was there, or how it got there, but it was good to see someone taking advantage of it, and the midst of all the hustle and bustle. Thanks Den. :)

You're welcome Rhonda. I think you just described life in general. <G> And thank you. :)

Edu, life is full of double meanings, don't you think? ... I think the chicken has the least meaning, but because of that, in this tabblo it might just have the most. :)

Thank you Sandy. too much insight sometimes leads to confusion though, don't you think? <G>
Tishfish said at 12:52 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:

AliDar said at 1:35 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
Thanks Pat! :) I think the hug might have startled him to death though. He seemed to be either asleep, or completely lost in his thoughts, because when the woman I was with said hi to him and put some money in his hat, it seemed very much if he could have jumped out of his chair, he would have.
Lifequest22 said at 2:19 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
Dar--congrats on TOD. Love all your snippets of your search. Each one is a little surprise as we scroll down.
Wildthing said at 2:32 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
Just had to come back and congrat you on TOD, Dar....And I don't know what 'Dancing with the Stars' is!!
AliDar said at 2:34 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
Thanks Linda; :) My thinking when I arranged the shots was to juxtapose them in a way to make the meaning, or lack of it, in each stand out better. Surprise as you scrolled down kind of says that I've accomplished what I tried to do. Thank you. :)
AliDar said at 2:36 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
Thanks Mike. Dancing with Stars is a all fluff no substance popular tv show, just the kind of thing that a thinking man like yourself might find irritating. <G>
Leftofcenter said at 2:49 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
I choose to focus on the <3 in the window. It's sPRING!
JuDeck said at 3:25 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
All great shots here Dar and love how you got them all together in a "search4meaning" theme...it works. congrats on TOD!
Debdog said at 4:12 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
congrats on TOD...woulda had my vote regardless.... you have an eye for picking out (noticing) the nuances of life, the everyday things we become blind to...the funny things like where does our poo go??LOL!!! and the not funny like the poor old guy....you wonder about their life, who are they, how'd they get there, and the humour in life, the little signs maybe only a few know the meaning of.?what were they thinking? twazzy wazzy??? and the creepy warning to Omar....just great, every bit of life thru your eyes...total enjoyment THANKS curious to see what the next mural will be :)
Wflorence said at 5:24 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:

Right on target. Нет сала в жизни а без него и жизни нет.
Andre. said at 9:23 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
I wonder how much time it did take to put it all together. Or was it just spontaneous? Great job, no doubt. a REAL RAW photography.
Snooway said at 9:23 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
interesting signs, congrats on TOD
AliDar said at 10:02 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
Hey Annelies, I tend to focus on that more than anything else, too. ... Third floor window, but it got my attention. Seems it holds more meaning for me than alot of things. Thanks. :)

Thank you kindly Jude. Very glad you think it works. :)

Wow, Thanks Deb. ... You said so much, I don't know what to say. ... I'm beaming though! :D

Thank you Bill. I had fun taking them and making this tab. :)

Allan thanks. :) This is a pretty quirky place, lots of opposites existing side by side.

LOL, Zip it's a honour to think my tab is responsible for getting your neurons fired up. I've always thought of you as a always firing kind of gal. <G>

Andre, Right on target is very good Thank you. I just translated the rest that you said, and I didn't realize how profound you were. (There is no fat in the life and without it and there is no life) Now you have me thinking. Thanks again. :)

... Actually all the photos in this tab were taken during one afternoon's walk. (a very long walk) I think I must just have been in that frame of mind, because when I came to make the tabblo the theme seemed like an obvious choice. And again Andre, you honor me with your compliments. Thank you. :)

Thank you Sue. :)

I don't always understand and "read" all the tabblos you Americans make becuse of the differences from our cultures. In your splendid tabblo the photos talk also to me. Congrats on TOD!!
Bravemoonbearer said at 12:45 p.m. on Apr 3, 2009:
Andre hit the nail on the head with lets hope the miracle does come true for all of us.
AliDar said at 2:02 p.m. on Apr 4, 2009:
Thanks Saul. :)

Отсутствие проблемы Andre:) … Маленькое Freddie делает более лучшую работу чем реальное одно. мир (оскала) к вам мой друг.

Krisu Thank you. I don't always know what my photos are saying myself, but the subject draws my attention, so I'm thinking there's an ongoing dialog happening there for me. It's good to know that they talk to you also. :)

Sandy, there are so many people that thrive on the opposites of peace and friendship, we will never get through to them all, but we can be responsible for ourselves. Peace.
HtD said at 1:23 p.m. on Apr 5, 2009:
Love the details.
Karissa_Annie said at 12:36 p.m. on Apr 6, 2009:
This was really interesting. It was very thought provoking. I loved the contrast of ideas, too. And like HtD said, the attention to detail was incredible.

yes this was a miss ..... interesting.., which you always find... Peace to you..

This is such a fun tabblo.
AliDar said at 7:08 p.m. on May 7, 2009:
My apologies; I hadn't realized people were still commenting on this tab. ... Thank you everyone. :)
Henk, Karissa, thank you for the compliment, most of the time when I'm out with my camera, I'm on auto shoot, so it's not as if seeing the details is something difficult to do. It's more like the details grab me, and I just click away, half the time without even knowing why. <Grin>

Hey Woodie, Long time no see! Thanks for popping in. You got it. It's the humour in something that draws my attention, and it's juxaposition with something serious that send the cogs in my head spinning. If we couldn't see the humour, I think we'd go mad....

Thanks Angela. I'm pleased I caught your interest and tickled your funny bone. :)

Thanks Noreen. :) I admit, I wasn't expecting a TOD for this one; I wasn't even sure anyone would get it, let alone like it. <G>

Peace back to you too Bobbie... Oh, I just realized, I have yet to see you sexy flower tab! :)

Thanks Linda. :)
