love the goats and the kitty peeking at us amongst the lovely countryside. You have mastered the fine art of presenting your tabblos in such a pleasing and interesting way.

Mike, thank you so much. I really enjoy taking pictures of the sheep and goats. They are so different in their behaviour from those in the UK.
Lars, Bob, Charles, thank you so much for your lovely comments.
Pam, thank you so much for your kind support, it is much appreciated.

I love the shot of the sheep staring at you from the crest of the hill! :) And the shot of the sheppard herding his flock down the street places the tabblo. ... I guessing the one in the tree is a goat, so there's no need to worry if it was able to get down or not. <g> Great Tabblo. :)

A beautiful and magicial land. So old and full of history. Wonderful Tabblo!
Leftofcenter said at 2:54 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
goats in fields of wild flowers. have to visit this sunny island.
Chilla said at 3:32 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
Dar,thank you very much for you thoughtful comment. The sheep in Crete are very curious, which provide plenty of photo opportunities! I always find it fascinating to see goats up trees but they are so sure-footed. It is common to be held up by a flock of sheep when out and about in the villages.
Thank you Pat. Certainly Crete has a magical quality, it has certainly captured me in it's spell!
Annelies, I hope you visit one day!

The flowers are so very similar to the wildflowers blooming here in Texas right now!
I could look at these pictures all day long and then some....so relaxing and majestic at the same time. This one definitely goes on my favorite list!
Chilla said at 3:52 p.m. on Apr 2, 2009:
MrsMaddox, thank you very much for visiting my tabblo, I am so glad you have enjoyed it. Interesting to think that you are seeing similar wildflowers in Texas!

Ah Celia I LOVE that word...'pastoral' and you've captued it perfectly with this lovely set. luv the layout and the many interesting flora and fauna to be seen! (kittie is so cool with 2 diff colored eyes btw) the purple flowers are likely not but DO remind me of my favorite LAVENDAR. Thank you for showing me the beauty of the Island of Crete....luv Patty xo
Chilla said at 4:37 p.m. on Apr 4, 2009:
Patty, thank you so much for your lovely comment. I made the mistake of thinking the flowers were wild lavender but in fact it is a wild sage!
Loes said at 5:31 p.m. on Apr 5, 2009:
Locely tabblo! The odd eyed cat is my favourite!
Chilla said at 2:59 a.m. on Apr 6, 2009:
Thanks Loes, I thought the cat was most unusual with its eye colouring.

The goats are great, but I especially like to dwell on the flowery hillside in the middle of the tabblo. Such beautiful colours.
