Wildthing said at 5:35 p.m. on Apr 4, 2009: Great shot of those two pardners, Gibson & Carter. The low POV of #1 & 2 are my faves. And the last one is terrific; I think Gibson is willing that ball to come to him.
Nmat said at 5:47 p.m. on Apr 4, 2009: I love these tabblos with only the ball, Carter & Gibson, Pam. They say so much with so little.
Leftofcenter said at 6:08 p.m. on Apr 4, 2009: I think Gibson is not going to let this little dude take over ... or maybe he will...
Andre. said at 6:19 p.m. on Apr 4, 2009: And I "observe what is with undivided attention". Dunno what else to say. They're just so very...true love.:)
Candlepower said at 6:20 p.m. on Apr 4, 2009: Great Captures. They sure are great friends!
Pkeener said at 6:33 p.m. on Apr 4, 2009: Thank you! I used that quote for two reasons. one, because it reminds me how to be in the moment when i am taking photos. Of anything, but especially true with what is right onder your nose. The second reason, is it applies to these two. Carter and Gibson. The child and dog know how to be in the moment, and that is a lesson e can all use, as adults.
Pat, they are amazing together! Andre, I really appreciate your observation. Pure truth Annelies, I think it's more that Gibson is waiting for Carter to get it! and throw the ball back one day! The last shot was pure resignation, with the introduction of a new ball. Carter's to be precise and I think Gibson was hoping for no distractions with his ball. NAncy, now you have a true taoist comment, here. thank you and how are your two doing? Mike, love your insight into this series. Thank you Beth!

Hmm, i love the idea of the movie! you can produce and i will direct and DP. now all we need is a screenplay and permission from Amy and Mark.
Lifequest22 said at 10:58 a.m. on Apr 5, 2009: Pam--I love this series. I went back and looked at the first two Tabblos and we can really see the progression. I think by the next Carter and Gibson Tao , Carter will be tossing the ball for Gibson. The first and last images are killer for sure. . Can really see the relationship growing between these two.
Pkeener said at 11:03 a.m. on Apr 5, 2009: LInda, thank you for picking up on the first and last images..point of view: Gibson and ball. Carter is a secondary player in this scenario, for now anyway. right now, it's Gibson who is patiently waiting for the exchange to happen. he has the TAO attitude down, for sure..I had to post the links, because it's so amazing for me to watch Carter grow. especially his awareness.
Bravemoonbearer said at 12:21 p.m. on Apr 5, 2009: It was first love and true love when their eyes first met. They share a very special relationship that just keeps growing as Carter continues to grow.It won't be long before Carter is going to grab for the ball and throw it which Gibson is patiently waiting for. They are so adorable together and a match made in heaven.
Abking said at 11:59 p.m. on Apr 5, 2009: Wonderful studies in attention and intention. Spare and momentous.
Pkeener said at 9:58 a.m. on Apr 6, 2009: thank you Sandy. Amy was in the middle of teaching Carter how to "throw" the ball. He will sit on the floor with her and roll it back to her! Gibson LOVES that tennis ball, and a good amount of time is spent asking everyone to play with him. Allan. you have a very Tao way of saying things with just a few deliciously chosen words.
