Morning Fog

December 14, 2006 (Maryland).  I woke up this morning and looked out the window.  I could barely see beyond my yard.  I drove to my office and took these photos of the park where I work.  I hope you will enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Monica, these are outstanding. I know exactly what you mean by the viewers enjoying looking at them as much as you enjoyed taking them. The first and the last are my favourite individual shots but the slide show of the whole lot is also very beautiful.

Monica, these are magnificent pictures. I love the reflections. Wow I love it all! This is going into my Favorites. I took some fog pics this morning. I am sure they are not as good as these.

You are all so very kind with your compliments. Thank you very much! I am really thrilled with these photos. And yes, I did pat myself on my back. I don't do this often. Eduardo, no, I don't have photos of the area during a day sunny day, but I probably should take photos in the spring, summer,and fall. I'll wait for our first snow and take pictures. Unfortunately, where I work - the whole place does not look like this. I need to take advantage and enjoy the park more often. It is a peaceful place. Thanks again everyone.

God, these shots are so mysterious and fascinating... so quiet and relaxing... it really looks like a dreamplace... a place where you mind can run free... thanks for sharing!
ps: May I ask where's this place? I've been in Maryland few years ago (Oakland, Deep Creek lake, Garrett county, etc.) and ejoyed a lot the beautiful view over there...

I'm hoping for another foggy morning. Dummy me didn't set my camera on a higher resolution, so I can't do the bigger enlargements.

Oh dear! I can fully relate to doing that. Having had a similar experience I now keep all my cameras at the highest resolution. I learnt my lesson the hard way! Merry Christmas!
