My niece, Iola, who is 4 and a half, has a huge crush on Troy, the lead male character in High School Musical, played by Zac Efron.

 

It made her soooo happy :) She couldn't stop looking at her photos.

 

 

*Sigh*

 

What I would give to be four again  ;)

 

 

 

About a month ago, Iola's preschool held their closing ceremonies at a rented movie theater.  I was there, of course, to take pictures of her "glad-ray-shun" (her word for "graduation"). 

 

Walking out of the theater after the program, she and I spotted a large tarpaulin poster with Zac Efron in it.  I asked Iola if she'd like to have her photo taken with Troy.  The idea thrilled her. 

First she posed in front of Troy.

 

I took a few shots, then I told her she could hold Troy's hand   She didn't want to at first.  "My  hands are dirty," she said, because she'd been dipping her hand into that bucket of popcorn all morning.

 

She started licking off the crumbs and wiping her hand on her dress.... 

... and finally when she thought her hands were clean enough, she "held" dear Troy's right hand.

Then she went to the other side and held Troy's left hand.

Annelies! I DO know who David Cassidy is! LOL! Didn't he record the song "Cherish"? I like the version of The Association more, though :)
