Hinduism: The largest religion in India, the founder of Hinduism is unclear. Left is the image of the symbol of Hinduism and Right is the image of Brahman. Brahman is the goal for all Hindu's. To see if they can be on the same plane with God they are measure by their karma, or the accumulation of all one's good and bad deeds. Hindu's believe in reincarnation because it is impossible to become enlightened in one life time.

Buddhism: The founder of Buddhism is Siddhartha Gautama, who is also considered as Buddha after he has reached enlightenment. Left is the symbol of Buddhism also representing the eight fold path. Right is an image of Buddha meditating under Bodhi Tree trying to understand the meaning of life. Buddhism also believes in Reincarnation saying that one must go through cycles of birth, life, and death. Only after such cycles can one reached Nirvana or enlightenment.

Jainism: Found by Vardhamana, similar to Hinduism and Buddhism. Left is the symbol of Jainism and Right is the founder of Jainism. Jains follow fuitarianism meaning that they do not eat anything that will kill the plant or animal.

Christianity: A breakaway sect of Judaism, The cross is the symbol of Christianity. In India its the third largest religion and is popular amongst the "untouchables" Left is the Jesus on the cross that is said is to have perished all of our sins and right the Christianity symbol of the cross.

Islam: The youngest of the world's greatest religions, Muslims do not view it as a new religion. Muslims say that this is the same lessons that were taught by all the great prophets and it was just Muhammad that finalized it and edited it. Left is the symbol of Islam and right is Muslim praying toward a Muslim temple.

Sikhism: Found by Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Pakistan. To the left is the Harmandir Sahib the holy temple for all believers of Sikhism. Also known as the Golden Temple. To the right is the symbol of Sikhism representing understanding of the only God.
