Buddhism follows "The Eight-Fold Path," which is a way of life. It calls for the right mindfulness, view, intentions, speech, action, livelihood, effort, and concentration (as pictured left).

Christianity.  Christianity is perhaps the oldest and most well-known religion that has taken root in India.  Although not developed in India like most of these other religions are, Christianity still has around 20 million followers in India.

Pictured right is a map showing the percentage of Christians in different parts of India.

Hinduism.  Hinduism is by far the largest religion in India, comprising over 80% of its population. A map showing how dominant Hinduism is in India is pictured right.

Although Hinduism has millions of gods, they are all supposedly a manifestation of one divine spirit, Brahman (pictured left).
