The 2009 Salem State College Honors Program's annual convocation took place on Wednesday, 8 April, in the ballroom of the Hawthorne Hotel. Addressing the gathering was Professor Aviva Chomsky of the History faculty. Awards were distributed for academic success and for leadership. Juniors received lapel pins. Graduating seniors received the gold stoles they'll soon wear at Commencement. |
