and they keep coming...to ride those cable cars up and down the hills

rain or shine they keep coming, those tourists who ride the famous cable cars half way to the stars, up and down our mighty hills, and they keep coming...

rain, rain go away come again some other day when its not my vacation!..

god bless their little old hearts and the dollars they bring with them to spend on rain gear and such. San Franciscans can always tell who the tourists are, there the ones in shorts and tees, they never know how to dress for our micro climates....

hurry quick, time to change to the next cable car...

the visitors to the city by the bay are all in such a rush to get to their next destination, as they wiz by on their cable cars...

up the hills, down the hills, where we come from we call these mountains...hang on for your life...

are we there yet, I am getting hungery...

where did I put that damn cable car transfer ticket?...

Tony, I like the atmosphere you convey here with your words, photos and layout. It really stirs up my memories of SF, cable cars and rain.

Thanks Allen, I keep trying...your words of encouragement are why I stay in the game. As you already know I am not one who adds a lot of words to describe my photos, I feel a photo should tell the story, this tabblo was a departure for me, I hope it works. I shot these pixs as it was raining in the city... the idea of the people standing in the rain on the sides of the cable cars hit me and I went with it.

The photos were shot w/a Cannon G-9, one of the cameras for the most part I try and keep with me in case a big story breaks in front of me...it could happen one day...then I am ready to shot it.
