Horses and Freedom are Synonymous

....and came to the horses.

There, still they stood,

But now steaming and glistening under the flow of light.....

  ...Ted Hughes

The wind of heaven is that which blows between a horse's ears.

~Arabian Proverb

When I bestride him, I soar, I am a hawk: he trots the air; the earth sings when he touches it; the basest horn of his hoof is more musical than the pipe of Hermes.

 ~William Shakespeare,

And Allah took a handful of

southerly wind,blew His breath

over it,and created the horse....

Thou shall fly without wings,

and conquer without any

sword.  Oh, horse.

       ~  Bedouin Legend

The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and fire

Sharon Ralls Lemon

He's of the colour of the nutmeg.  And of the heat of the ginger.... he is pure air and fire; and the dull elements of earth and water never appear in him, but only in patient stillness while his rider mounts him; he is indeed a horse, and all other jades you may call beasts.  ~William Shakespeare

The horse is God's gift to mankind

These are delightful. LOve the ones of the horse rolling on its back. And the reflection in the eye is excellent.

Theresa, I love horses. I think it's the animal that is more sensual. There is a magic figure behind him. But this tabblo is not only beautiful because it has horses, but also because the photos are beautiful. Well done.
